QuickTime™ files can be heard like a movie without picture and can be played back via Apple's MoviePlayer application which is free and installed on most Macs that have QuickTime™ installed. As mentioned before, at the date of this writing the current version of QuickTime™ is 2.5.
If you need any of the above mentioned products there are different ways to go about it:
1.) Go to your local Apple dealer and ask him to give you a copy for a small fee.
2.) Visit Apple at: http://www.apple.com
Just search for QuickTime™ and download for free.
3.) Use an online service like AOL, CompuServe, da, da, da … . They usually have it
someplace.
4.) Go to that deep and dark place where you keep the back ups for the system
software. Apple has bundled the QuickTime™ software for years.
The neat thing about QuickTime movies is that they can be made into standard MIDI files - also, if you are not
registered, it is the only way for you to hear ChordLab at work. Please note that ChordLab's play back is
rhythmically much smoother than MoviePlayer's.
a.) ChordLab format
Those with the little arrow…
These are ChordLab's files. They store song forms on very little space and can be opened ( one at a time ) by ChordLab
and played back. Just double-click one to see what happens. They are the documents that you will edit AND when you register ChordLab you will be able to play them back right in the editing window.
